working with Andrew

I worked closely with Andrew from the time I joined the Institute of Food Research and from when I left the Institute to join the Chemistry Department. I greatly appreciated his wisdom his dedication to UEA and his tremendous sense of humour.  One outstanding memory is from when I was walking through the department with an oversees visitor Along the corridor we met Andrew, clutching half empty bottle of wine and announcing that he had finally got on the senior common room wine committee. (That of course was in the days when we had a senior common room)
