Andrew was with doubt the best supervisor, mentor and colleague that any of us could have wished for. A brilliant mind, and a kind generous person. He set high standards, and helped us to meet them He led by example, showing that it is never too late to learn something new. He will be missed, but we will always have our fond memories.
